We found the product to be extremely well designed and made however, It maybe difficult to use for elderly homeowners due to the push pads to open the locking bar.

We also dont feel many people will use the tamper resistant spindles as installation requires removing your French door handles.

We found the Securian PX-3 easy to use and operate and really liked the thumb screw locking idea.

Tough and Easy CROC

The tough and easy croc handle is actually quite a nice product despite its low end look. Don’t be fooled though its not a handle bar lock. This product is not designed to prevent the operation of your French door handles but is designed to prevent the doors opening as they are joined together by the Croc lock.

The Croc lock uses a padlock to lock the unit in place and acts as a good visual deterrent.

Living with the Tough and Easy Croc

We would not class this product under security bars for French doors and the Croc lock is not a handlebar lock, it simply stops your French doors from opening fully. For the price its ok but the same result can be achieved by using an old style bike lock with a combination lock.
