What do you need for your Ajax alarm system?

All wireless burglar alarm systems require three main components.

• A control hub
• Motion detectors
• An external bell box (sounder)

The control hub is normally installed in a cupboard out of sight, but Ajax alarms have been designed to look sleek and elegant, so the control hub can remain on show somewhere near your internet router.

The motion detectors are installed in each room that you need to protect, and the external bell box is installed around to the front of the house.

Ajax Door Protect

As the name suggests the Ajax door protect is designed to be installed directly to the door frame and opening sash. Once your ajax alarm system is armed and the door opened, the alarm will trigger.

Ajax door protect sensors can be installed on any uPVC door, timber or composite.

Ajax Motion Protect

The Ajax motion protect from Ajax alarm systems, is a PIR Motion Detector that detects a human presences by using a passive IR sensor & capable of recognizing false alarms. The MotionProtect will automatically increase or decrease the sensor sensitivity in order to accurately detect motion during periods of hot and cold weather. A required authentication means your system is prevented from forgery as well as including a tampering alarm, jamming detection and communication channels encryption.

Ajax Motion Protect Curtain

The Ajax Motion Protect Curtain is perfect for installing in front of patio doors, garage doors and bi fold doors and allows for occupants within the building to move freely without setting off the alarm. As is standard with the Ajax intrusion range, the Motion Protect Curtain is fully  pet-friendly, even with large dogs. The Motion Protect Curtain will work up to 1,700 meters away from the hub using Ajax Jeweller radio technology. Alternatively, this can be extended using the Ajax Rex range extender which makes the Motion Protect suitable for even the largest properties.
